Harron Lee

Pembroke native Harron Lee was educated at both Savannah Technical College and Georgia Southern University. He’s been with Genesis Homes since nearly the beginning of the company, managing the Architectural, then Purchasing and Estimating, and eventually even the Production departments before being elevated to President of the company. “I create the initial plans for our homes, and can then take them all the way through construction. It’s actually a lot of fun and very rewarding.”

Lee had been in the architectural field for eleven years before joining Genesis, and possesses degrees in Architectural Drafting as well as Construction. “The everyday challenges of my job, the different house designs, the different neighborhoods we work in, keep things interesting. It’s also good to work in such a growing, dynamic organization, where new opportunities and the chance for career advancement are readily available.”

Genesis offers some 50 different home designs, and Lee takes pride in touring the neighborhoods showcasing the finished product. “It’s gratifying to see how we impact the population demographics,” he says. “We greatly impact the population and improve the appearance of the communities in which we build." Lee enjoys his role in the creation of these Genesis neighborhoods, but it’s the big picture that really interests him. “Making sure the company is successful helps to ensure the city and the entire area are successful. I grew up here, I’m raising my family here. I take great pride in watching the changes that have happened and knowing we’ve been a part of it.”
